Offering a modern Australian bistro menu, specialising in premium steak and seasonal produce, their meat cuts, represent the finest in Prime Aged Beef and are displayed daily in their bespoke meat cabinet.
Discover intimate spaces, set amongst the open fires and enjoy a glass of local wine and a selection from their cheese menu, or sit outside in one of the many alfresco areas and enjoy the picturesque Highlands landscape with family and friends grazing over delicious share plates.
Character-filled private dining spaces have been created upstairs, while the intimate areas around the bar have been aptly renamed the “Throsby Bar & Lounge”, in hommage to Charles Throsby who built Briars in 1845. After a fire in 2018, in 2020, Briars undertook extensive renovations, retain the venue’s historic elements, while adding some more contemporary design features.
